Working Principle
An inductive proximity switch consists of three main parts: an oscillator, a switching circuit, and an amplifier output circuit. The oscillator generates an alternating magnetic field. When a metal target approaches this magnetic field and reaches the sensing distance, eddy currents are generated within the metal target, causing the oscillation to decay and eventually stop. The changes in oscillation and cessation of oscillation are processed by the subsequent amplifier circuit and converted into a switching signal, triggering the drive controller to achieve non-contact detection.
