Selection criteria for Atos solenoid valves

$450.86

SDHI-0639/0 23 DC24Y Atos solenoid valves are selected based on environmental requirements for auxiliary functions: explosion-proof, check valve, manual, waterproof mist, water spray, and submersible. 1. In explosive environments: solenoid valves with the appropriate explosion-proof rating must be selected. 2. When backflow is possible, a solenoid valve with a check valve function can be selected. 3. When manual operation of the solenoid valve is required, a solenoid valve with a manual function can be selected. 4. For outdoor installations or dusty environments, waterproof and dustproof models (protection rating of IP54 or higher) should be selected. 5. For fountains, submersible solenoid valves (protection rating of IP68 or higher) must be used.

ATOS Solenoid Valve Selection Criteria

ATOS Vane Pumps, ATOS Piston Pumps, ATOS Hydraulic Pumps, ATOS Proportional Valves

ATOS solenoid valves are electromagnetically controlled industrial devices, fundamental components for fluid control in automation. They are actuators, not limited to hydraulic or pneumatic systems. Used in industrial control systems to adjust the direction, flow rate, speed, and other parameters of the medium. Solenoid valves can be used with different circuits to achieve the desired control, ensuring both precision and flexibility. There are many types of solenoid valves, each playing a different role in the control system. Commonly used types include check valves, safety valves, directional control valves, and speed control valves.

Atos Solenoid Valve Selection Criteria:

1. Selection of Solenoid Valve Based on Pipeline Parameters: Nominal Diameter (DN), Connection Type

1) Determine the nominal diameter (DN) based on the inner diameter of the pipeline or flow requirements.

2) Connection type: Generally, for DN > 50, a flange connection should be selected; for DN ≤ 50, the connection type can be freely selected according to user needs.

2. Selection of Solenoid Valve Based on Fluid Parameters: Material, Temperature Group

1) Corrosive fluids: Corrosion-resistant solenoid valves and all-stainless steel are recommended; Ultra-clean edible fluids: Food-grade stainless steel solenoid valves are recommended.

2) High-Temperature Fluids: Solenoid valves made with high-temperature resistant electrical and sealing materials should be selected, and piston-type valves should be chosen.

3) Fluid State: Fluids can be gaseous, liquid, or mixed, especially when the diameter is greater than DN 25, it is essential to distinguish between these states.

4) Fluid Viscosity: Generally, any fluid can be selected below 50 cSt; if it exceeds this value, a high-viscosity solenoid valve should be selected. DHI-0715/FI/NC-X 24DC

DHU-0614-X 24DC 20 The Atos solenoid valve contains a sealed chamber with through-holes at different locations, each connecting to a different oil pipe. Inside the chamber is a piston, flanked by two electromagnets. When the coil of one electromagnet is energized, the valve body is attracted to that side. Controlling the movement of the valve body opens or closes different drain holes. The inlet hole is always open, allowing hydraulic oil to enter different drain pipes. The oil pressure then pushes the piston in the cylinder, which in turn moves the piston rod, which in turn drives the mechanical device. Thus, controlling the flow of current to the electromagnets controls the mechanical movement.
