ATOS Proportional Directional Valve Working Principle:
When the input signal to the ATOS proportional directional valve increases, the supply solenoid pilot valve 1 switches, while the exhaust solenoid pilot valve 7 remains in the reset state. The supply pressure then enters the pilot chamber 5 through the SUP port and valve 1. The pilot chamber pressure rises, and this pressure acts on the diaphragm 2, opening the supply valve core 4 connected to diaphragm 2 and closing the exhaust valve core 3, generating output pressure. This output pressure is fed back to the control circuit 8 via pressure sensor 6. Here, a rapid comparison and correction is performed with the target value until the output pressure is proportional to the input signal, thus demonstrating that the output pressure changes proportionally to the input signal. Because there is no nozzle-baffle mechanism, the valve is insensitive to impurities and has high reliability.
ATOS Proportional Directional Valve Features:
1) Enables stepless adjustment of pressure and speed, avoiding the impact phenomenon during switching of normally open on/off valves.
2) Enables remote control and program control.
3) Compared to intermittent control, the system is simplified, with a significant reduction in components.
4) Compared to hydraulic proportional valves, it is smaller, lighter, simpler in structure, and lower in cost, but its response speed is much slower than hydraulic systems, and it is more sensitive to load changes.
5) It uses less power, generates less heat, and produces less noise.
6) It will not cause a fire and will not pollute the environment. It is less affected by temperature changes.
The ATOS proportional directional valve - S* option adds pressure closed-loop control (SP) and force closed-loop control (SFESL) to the basic flow regulation function of the proportional directional valve. Pressure (force) control is switched via software according to the actual conditions of the hydraulic system.
ATOS proportional directional valve - dedicated connectors for the required pressure sensor and electronic amplifier are also available (Option SP requires one pressure sensor, Option SF requires two pressure sensor circuits, Option SL requires one load sensor circuit). The main connector is the same as Option 2, but with two additional analog signal wires specifically for pressure (force) control. For detailed information and connector wiring for Options SP, SF, and SL, please refer to the technical catalog GS212.
ATOS proportional directional valve features: shock-resistant digital, direct-acting, with position sensor and zero-coverage spool.
