Camozzi cylinder 16N2A08A125 in stock

$453.29

A camozzi cylinder is a pressure-bearing component within a cylinder. To prevent air leakage between the left and right chambers of the piston, a piston seal ring is installed. Wear rings on the piston improve the cylinder's guiding properties, reduce piston seal wear, and decrease frictional resistance. Wear rings are commonly made of materials such as polyurethane, polytetrafluoroethylene, and fabric-reinforced synthetic resin. The piston width is determined by the seal ring size and the necessary sliding portion length. A sliding portion that is too short can easily lead to premature wear and jamming. Pistons are commonly made of aluminum alloy and cast iron; pistons for small cylinders are sometimes made of brass.

A CAMOZZI cylinder is the cavity in the cylinder block of an internal combustion engine where the piston is placed. It is the track for piston movement, where the combustion gases burn and expand. Some of the residual heat from the combustion gases is dissipated through the cylinder walls, maintaining the engine's normal operating temperature. Cylinders come in two types: integral and single-cast. Single-cast cylinders are further divided into dry and wet types. When the cylinder and cylinder block are cast as a single unit, it is called an integral cylinder; when the cylinder and cylinder block are cast separately, the single-cast cylinder barrel is called a cylinder liner. Cylinder liners that are in direct contact with cooling water are called wet cylinder liners; those that are not in direct contact with cooling water are called dry cylinder liners. To maintain a tight seal between the cylinder and piston and reduce frictional losses during piston movement, the cylinder inner wall should have high machining precision and accurate dimensions.

Camozzi Cylinder Types

Cylinders are pneumatic actuators that convert the pressure energy of compressed gas into mechanical energy in pneumatic transmission.

Cylinders are pneumatic actuators that convert the pressure energy of compressed gas into mechanical energy. There are two types of cylinders: those that perform reciprocating linear motion and those that perform reciprocating oscillating motion (see figure). Cylinders that perform reciprocating linear motion can be further divided into four types: single-acting cylinders, double-acting cylinders, diaphragm cylinders, and impact cylinders.

① Single-acting cylinder: Only one end has a piston rod. Air is supplied from one side of the piston to generate pressure, which pushes the piston to extend. It returns to its original position by a spring or its own weight.

② Double-acting cylinder: Air is alternately supplied from both sides of the piston, outputting force in one or two directions.

③ Diaphragm cylinder: A diaphragm replaces the piston, outputting force in only one direction and returning to its original position by a spring. It has good sealing performance but a short stroke.

④ Impact cylinder: This is a new type of component. It converts the pressure energy of compressed gas into the kinetic energy of the piston's high-speed (10~20 m/s) motion to perform work. ⑤ Rodless Cylinder: A general term for cylinders without a piston rod. There are two main categories: magnetic cylinders and cable cylinders.

A cylinder that performs a reciprocating oscillation is called an oscillating cylinder. A vane divides the internal cavity into two, and air is alternately supplied to the two cavities, causing the output shaft to oscillate. The oscillation angle is less than 280°. Other types include rotary cylinders, pneumatic-hydraulic damping cylinders, and stepping cylinders.

Camozzi Cylinder Structure

A cylinder consists of a cylinder barrel, end caps, piston, piston rod, and seals. Its internal structure is shown in the figure:
