Media characteristics: 1) Different types of solenoid valves are selected for gaseous, liquid, or mixed states; 2) Different specifications of products are required for different media temperatures, otherwise the coil will burn out, the seals will age, and the lifespan will be severely affected; 3) Media viscosity is usually below 50 cSt. If it exceeds this value, a multi-functional solenoid valve should be used when the nominal diameter is greater than 15 mm; a high-viscosity solenoid valve should be used when the nominal diameter is less than 15 mm; 4) When the media cleanliness is not high, a backwash filter valve should be installed before the solenoid valve. When the pressure is low, a direct-acting diaphragm solenoid valve can be selected.

ATOS Solenoid Valve Selection Principles:
ATOS Solenoid Valve Safety:
1. Corrosive Media: Plastic-coated solenoid valves and all-stainless steel valves are recommended; for highly corrosive media, diaphragm-type valves must be selected. For neutral media, solenoid valves with copper alloy valve bodies are also recommended; otherwise, rust particles will often fall from the valve body, especially in infrequent applications. Copper valves cannot be used for ammonia applications.
2. Explosive Atmospheres: Products with the appropriate explosion-proof rating must be selected. For outdoor installations or dusty environments, waterproof and dustproof models should be selected.
3. The nominal pressure of the solenoid valve should exceed the maximum working pressure in the pipeline. ATOS Solenoid Valve Applicability:

5) If the media flows in a directional manner and backflow is not allowed, a bidirectional flow valve is required.
