Metrix was founded in 1965 and is located in Houston, USA. We are a leading manufacturer of 4-20mA vibration transmitters, greatly simplifying vibration monitoring and reducing costs. Our products and services include eddy current systems, transmitters, switches, monitors, portable displays, and global technical services, including machine diagnostics, commissioning, balancing, and troubleshooting. Our vibration monitoring products are used in gas turbines, motors, compressors, pumps, generators, gearboxes, papermaking machinery, and cooling towers. Metrix's product line is suitable for numerous industries, including air separation, chemical, oil and gas, pipeline, power generation, water/sewage treatment, and many more. Non-contact eddy current sensors are mainly used to measure shaft vibration, axial displacement, eccentricity, differential expansion, key phase, and zero speed. Speed sensors and acceleration sensors are mainly used to measure bearing vibration, etc. METRIX vibration transmitter ST5484E-151-020-00 probe equipment vibration transmitter, ST5484E vibration transmitter, 5550 vibration switch ST5484E-151-010-00 ST5484E-132-520-00 ST5484E-132-540-00 ST5484E-132-432-00 ST5484E-132-421-00 162VTS extended vibration transmitter, 5485C high temperature velocity sensor, 5534-5544 signal Signal transducer transmitter, 5535-5545 signal transducer transmitter, IT6810 impact transducer, IT6811 impact transducer, IT1682 impact transducer, SA6200A industrial accelerometer, SA6250 vibration sensor, SA6350 high-temperature accelerometer, ST5484E vibration sensor, ST5491E digital display vibration transducer, ST6900 compact vibration transducer, ST6911 vibration sensor, SV6300A piezoelectric velocity sensor, 6850-001 impact display instrument. Metrix transmitters are converters that transform the output signal of a sensor into a signal that can be recognized by a controller (or convert non-electrical quantities input by a sensor into electrical signals and amplify them for remote measurement and control). Sensors and transmitters together constitute the monitoring signal source for automatic control. Different physical quantities require different sensors and corresponding transmitters. There are many types of transmitters; those used in industrial control instruments mainly include temperature transmitters, pressure transmitters, flow transmitters, current transmitters, voltage transmitters, etc.
Metrix transmitter protection functions:
1. Input overload protection;
2. Output overcurrent limiting protection;
3. Long-term short-circuit protection for output current;
4. Transient lightning and surge current TVS suppression protection for two-wire ports;
5. Overvoltage limit protection for operating power supply ≤35V;
6. Reverse connection protection for operating power supply.
Metrix Transmitter Principle
Transmitter is the Chinese name for a transmitter; the English name is TRANSMITTER.
As the name suggests, a transmitter involves both "transformation" and "transmission."
"Transformation" refers to converting various physical quantities from sensors into electrical signals. For example, using a thermocouple, temperature is converted into potential; using a current transformer, a large current is converted into a small current. Because electrical signals are the easiest to process, modern transmitters convert various physical signals into electrical signals. Therefore, when we talk about transmitters, we usually mean "electrical."
"Transmission" refers to the process of unifying the converted electrical signals (e.g., 4-20mA) through electronic circuitry to facilitate reception and transmission by other instruments or control devices. This is achieved using multiple operational amplifiers. This combination of "transformation" and "transmission" constitutes the commonly used modern transmitter.
For example, the SST3-AD is a current transmitter that converts the output current of a current transformer into a standard 4-20mA current transmitter; another example is the SST4-LD, which can convert weight signals from a weight sensor into a standard 4-20mA weight transmitter.
