Photoelectric Sensors:

It would be unimaginable to be in automation technology without photoelectric sensors, the so-called "artificial eyes." They are needed in all fields where the precise location of objects must be identified safely and without contact, regardless of the material of the object being detected. Compared to proximity switches, photoelectric sensors have a larger detection range.

Through-beam Sensors:

Through-beam sensors have a long detection distance. The system consists of two separate components: a transmitter and a receiver. Light travels only in one direction (from the transmitter to the receiver). This means that negative effects such as dust in the air, dirt on the lens, water vapor, or fog will not directly affect the system (high excess gain). Specular Reflection Sensor:

The transmitter and receiver of a specular reflection sensor are housed in the same enclosure. A mirror reflects the emitted light beam to the receiver.

Diffuse Reflection Sensor:

Diffuse reflection sensors are used for direct object detection. The transmitter and receiver are housed in the same enclosure. The transmitter emits light, which is reflected by the object to be identified and received by the receiver. The sensor estimates the reflected light, thus eliminating the need for a mirror.
