Parker Proportional Directional Valve D*FW/D*FT Series

The direct-acting (D*FW) directional valve series, with nominal sizes of CETOP3 and CETOP5, is a proportional valve for flow control. This valve (D*FW) is electrically controlled using a PWD-400/PCD-400 power amplifier or integrates electronic components onto the valve as a single unit (D*FT). Typical applications include: smooth valve spool switching via ramp signal adjustment to reduce hydraulic and mechanical shock; and automation of mechanical functions through electrical flow/speed regulation.

Parker Proportional Valve D*FL Series

The D*FL series valves, with nominal sizes of CETOP3 and CETOP5, are digital proportional valves for flow control. This microprocessor-controlled 4-way valve can be tuned to different given speeds via electrical signals. Acceleration, deceleration, and speed can be adjusted on the valve itself. Typical fast/low-speed stroke characteristics can be achieved without additional modules.

When the input signal to the Parker proportional valve increases, the pilot valve 1 of the supply solenoid valve switches, while the exhaust solenoid pilot valve 7 remains in the reset state. The supply pressure then enters the pilot chamber 5 from the SUP port through valve 1. The pilot chamber pressure rises, and this pressure acts on the diaphragm 2, opening the supply valve core 4 connected to diaphragm 2 and closing the exhaust valve core 3, generating output pressure. This output pressure is fed back to the control loop 8 via pressure sensor 6. Here, a rapid comparison and correction is performed with the target value until the output pressure is proportional to the input signal, thus demonstrating that the output pressure changes proportionally to the change in the input signal. Because there is no nozzle-baffle mechanism, the valve is insensitive to impurities and has high reliability.
