The American Parker pressure transmitter is an instrument that accepts pressure variables, converts them into a standard output signal after sensing, and then transmits the pressure change in a certain proportion. The transmitter's output signal is transmitted to the central control room for pressure indication, recording, or control.

Parker (short for Parker Hannifin) is a diversified manufacturer of motion and control technologies and systems, providing precision solutions for a wide range of drive control, industrial, and aerospace markets. It has become a major global company specializing in the production and sales of various refrigeration and air conditioning components, hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid control products and components. Parker PEN pens are synonymous with top-quality pens. Parker's philosophy, "Make the product better, and people will buy it," has always guided Parker's commitment to manufacturing "better pens," a profound cultural heritage accumulated over a century.

Parker pressure transmitters mainly consist of three parts: a pressure sensing element (also called a pressure sensor), a measuring circuit, and process connections. It can convert the physical pressure parameters of gases, liquids, etc., sensed by the pressure sensing element into standard electrical signals (such as 4~20mA DC), which are then supplied to secondary instruments such as indicators, alarms, recorders, and controllers for measurement, indication, and process regulation.

Parker pressure transmitters can be classified as follows:

Based on measurement range, Parker pressure transmitters can be divided into three types: general pressure transmitters (0.001MPa~35MPa), differential pressure transmitters (0~1.5kPa), and negative pressure transmitters. From an accuracy perspective, since the national standard for accuracy in my country is 0.5%, they are also commonly classified in recent years into high-precision pressure transmitters (0.1%, 0.2%, or 0.075%) and general pressure transmitters (0.5%).

Based on sensor type, Parker pressure transmitters can be divided into capacitive pressure transmitters, diffused silicon pressure transmitters, and monocrystalline silicon pressure transmitters.

Features of Parker pressure transmitters:

1) Wide range of applicable media, including oil, water, and pastes compatible with 316 and 304 stainless steel, with a certain degree of corrosion resistance.

2) High accuracy, high stability, using imported original sensors, good linearity, and high temperature stability. 3) Small size, light weight, easy installation, debugging, and use.

4) Fully enclosed stainless steel housing, excellent waterproofing.

5) The pressure sensor directly senses the pressure of the measured liquid level, unaffected by foaming or sedimentation of the medium.

Parker pressure transmitters can be classified according to sensor type: capacitive pressure transmitters, diffused silicon pressure transmitters, and monocrystalline silicon pressure transmitters.

Parker pressure transmitters

The principle is roughly as follows:

The mechanical signal of water pressure is converted into an electronic signal such as current (4-20mA).

Pressure and voltage or current have a linear relationship, generally a direct proportional relationship.

Therefore, the voltage or current output by the transmitter increases with increasing pressure.

From this, a relationship between pressure and voltage or current is derived. In a pressure transmitter, the pressure of the measured medium is introduced into two pressure chambers: a high-pressure chamber and a low-pressure chamber. The low-pressure chamber uses atmospheric pressure or a vacuum, acting on the diaphragms on both sides of the δ element (the sensing element). The pressure is transmitted to both sides of the measuring diaphragm through the Figueres insulating sheet and the filling fluid within the element. The pressure transmitter consists of a capacitor formed by the measuring diaphragm and electrodes on the insulating sheets on both sides. When the pressures on both sides are inconsistent, the measuring diaphragm is displaced. The amount of displacement is proportional to the pressure difference, resulting in unequal capacitances on both sides. This is converted into a signal proportional to the pressure through oscillation and demodulation.
