MAC Solenoid Valves Environmental Conditions:

1) The highest and lowest ambient temperatures should be within the allowable range;

2) In environments with high relative humidity or water droplets/rain, waterproof solenoid valves should be selected;

3) In environments with frequent vibration, bumps, and impacts, special types should be selected, such as marine solenoid valves;

4) In corrosive or explosive environments, corrosion-resistant types should be selected based on safety requirements;

5) If space is limited, multi-functional solenoid valves should be selected, as they eliminate the need for bypasses and three manual valves and facilitate online maintenance.

ATOS Solenoid Valves Power Supply Conditions

1) Select AC or DC solenoid valves according to the type of power supply. 1) Generally, AC power is readily available;

2) For voltage specifications, AC220V and DC24V should be preferred;

3) Power supply voltage fluctuations are typically +10% to -15% for AC and ±10% for DC. If these fluctuations exceed the tolerance, voltage stabilization measures must be taken;

4) The rated current and power consumption should be selected according to the power supply capacity. Note that the VA value is higher during AC startup; if the capacity is insufficient, indirect-acting solenoid valves should be preferred.

MAC Valves was founded in January 1948 as Mechanical Air Control, with a capital of US$2,000. In 1962, the company name was changed to MAC Valves Inc.

Starting in 1964, MAC implemented an 18-month unconditional quality guarantee policy for all its products, printing this guarantee on its brochures and distributing them worldwide to emphasize the quality of MAC products. To date, no other manufacturer has printed an 18-month quality guarantee on its brochures. In 1971, MAC Valves Europe was established in Belgium as a branch of MAC Valves.

Also in 1971, the Japanese government approved a manufacturing contract between MAC and SMC Corporation of Japan, under which MAC transferred technology to SMC and authorized SMC to manufacture solenoid valves in Japan. SMC also became MAC Valves' agent in the Asia-Pacific region. SMC was previously a filter manufacturer.

By 1972, MAC had sold one million valves; five years later, sales had doubled, exceeding two million by 1977.

In 1984, MAC Valves Pacific was established in New Zealand, another branch of MAC Valves, responsible for sales and service in the Asian and Australian markets.
