About MAC Valves Inc. (USA):
MAC Valves was founded in January 1948 as Mechanical Air Control Company, with a capital of US$2,000. In 1962, the company name was changed to MAC Valves Inc.
Starting in 1964, MAC implemented an 18-month unconditional quality guarantee policy for all its products, printing this guarantee on its brochures and distributing them worldwide to emphasize the quality of MAC products. To date, no other manufacturer prints an 18-month quality guarantee on its brochures.
In 1971, MAC Valves Europe was established in Belgium, a branch of MAC Valves Inc.
In 1971, the Japanese government approved a manufacturing contract between MAC and SMC Corporation of Japan, under which MAC transferred technology to SMC and authorized SMC to produce solenoid valves in Japan. SMC also became MAC Valves Inc.'s agent in the Asia-Pacific region. SMC was originally a filter manufacturer.
In 1972, MAC sold one million valves; five years later, sales doubled, exceeding two million by 1977.
In 1984, MAC Valves Pacific was established in New Zealand, a branch of MAC Valves responsible for sales and service in the Asian and Australian markets.
MAC Valves is an employee-owned company with over 1,300 employees worldwide.
Over the past six decades, MAC's technology in designing and developing equipment has successfully created highly competitive products with superior advantages for industrial automation applications.
MAC's material combinations are all proven through testing. This equipment provides testing of responsiveness and lifespan characteristics, making its ultra-high-speed performance among the best in the world.
Valve responsiveness, lifespan, and reliability have become standard requirements in manufacturing plants. Manufacturing valves with so many advantages requires advanced technology, but MAC has not neglected the importance of price.
1. Key Points for Selecting MAC Pilot Valves
1) The main control parameters for selecting MAC pilot valves are nominal diameter, design nominal pressure, allowable temperature range of the medium, and interface size.
2) MAC pilot valves use an electromagnet to open and close the valve. They are typically used in two-position control systems with a diameter of 40mm or less, especially for connecting, disconnecting, or switching gas or liquid circuits.
Shanghai Weiterui maintains a long-term inventory of AMC pilot valves from the USA. We source directly from the USA, handle customs clearance ourselves, and can provide customs declarations for your peace of mind.
3) The sealing performance of MAC pilot valves is one of the main indicators for evaluating valve quality. Valve sealing performance mainly includes two aspects: internal leakage and external leakage. Internal leakage refers to the degree of sealing between the valve seat and the closing element. External leakage refers to leakage at the valve stem packing, leakage at the valve body plate, and leakage caused by casting defects in the valve body. External leakage is unacceptable.
4) The main advantages of solenoid valves are small size, reliable operation, convenient maintenance, and low price. When selecting a MAC pilot valve, it is important to choose either a normally open or normally closed type based on the process requirements.
2. Installation Points
1) The installation position and height of the MAC pilot valve must meet the design requirements for the port direction, and the connection should be secure and tight.
2) Before installation, the MAC pilot valve must undergo a visual inspection. The valve's nameplate should comply with the current national standard GB12220 "General Valve Marking". 3. MAC Pilot Valve Execution Standards
