When installing a HYDAC pressure sensor, it's crucial to check the dimensions of the mounting hole. If the mounting hole is not the correct size, the threads of the sensor will easily wear during installation. This not only affects the sealing performance of the equipment but also prevents the sensor from functioning properly and may even pose a safety hazard. Only a suitable mounting hole (thread industry standard 1/2-20UNF2B) can prevent thread wear. A mounting hole measuring instrument can typically be used to inspect the mounting hole and make appropriate adjustments.

HYDAC Pressure Sensors

Resistance: 10KΩ±3%. Higher temperature results in lower resistance; lower temperature results in higher resistance. The further away from 25℃, the wider the corresponding resistance tolerance range. At 0℃ and 55℃, the resistance tolerance is approximately ±7%; however, below 0℃ and above 55℃, the resistance tolerance may vary depending on the supplier. Higher temperature results in lower resistance; lower temperature results in higher resistance. The further away from 25℃, the wider the corresponding resistance tolerance range.

2. Exhaust Temperature Sensor: The exhaust temperature sensor measures the exhaust temperature at the top of the compressor. The constant B value is 3950K±3%, and the reference resistance is 5KΩ±3% at 90℃. 3. Module Temperature Sensor: The module temperature sensor is used to measure the temperature of the frequency converter module (IGBT or IPM). The currently used temperature sensor model is 602F-3500F, with a reference resistance of 6KΩ ± 1% at 25℃. The corresponding resistance values for several typical temperatures are: -10℃ → (25.897─28.623)KΩ; 0℃ → (16.3248─17.7164)KΩ; 50℃ → (2.3262─2.5153)KΩ; 90℃ → (0.6671─0.7565)KΩ.

HYDAC pressure sensors are among the most commonly used sensors in industrial practice. They are widely used in various industrial automation environments, including water conservancy and hydropower, railway transportation, intelligent buildings, production automation, aerospace, military, petrochemicals, oil wells, power, shipbuilding, machine tools, pipelines, and many other industries. Below is a brief introduction to the principles and applications of some commonly used sensors. Medical pressure sensors are also available.

HYDAC Pressure Sensor Performance Parameters

Pressure sensors come in many types, and their performance varies considerably. Choosing the most suitable sensor for an economical and reasonable application is crucial.

1. Rated Pressure Range

The rated pressure range is the pressure range that meets the standard specifications. In other words, it's the pressure range between the highest and lowest pressures where the sensor outputs the specified operating characteristics. In practical applications, the pressure measured by the sensor falls within this range. Currently, sensors can measure pressures up to 300 MPa or higher.

2. Maximum Pressure Range

The maximum pressure range refers to the maximum pressure the sensor can withstand for an extended period without altering its output characteristics. Especially for semiconductor pressure sensors, the rated pressure range is generally significantly reduced to improve linearity and temperature characteristics. Therefore, continuous use above the rated pressure will not cause damage. Typically, the maximum pressure is 2-3 times the highest rated pressure.

3. Damage Pressure

Damage pressure is the maximum pressure that can be machined onto the sensor without damaging the sensor element or housing.

4. Linearity

Linearity refers to the maximum deviation from the linear relationship between the sensor output and the pressure within the operating pressure range.

5. Pressure Hysteresis

This is the difference in sensor output as the pressure approaches a certain pressure from the minimum and maximum operating pressures within the operating pressure range at room temperature.

6. Temperature Range

The temperature range of a pressure sensor is divided into the compensated temperature range and the operating temperature range. The compensated temperature range is the temperature range within which accuracy is maintained after temperature compensation is applied. The operating temperature range is the temperature range within which the pressure sensor ensures normal operation.
