HYDAC Filter Cartridge Replacement Method:

Water may overflow during this process. Please prepare a basin or towel for cleaning:

a) Turn off the electroplating ball valve and the pressure tank ball valve;

b) Open the gooseneck faucet to drain any residual water from the pipes;

c) Once the water stops flowing, use a filter housing wrench to open the filter housing containing the filter cartridge;

d) Remove the old GE filter cartridge and install a new one of the same specifications;

e) Apply a lubricant such as petroleum jelly to the black "O" ring on top of the filter housing, then place the "O" ring into the groove in the filter housing.

f) Tighten the filter housing vertically, taking care to prevent the "O" ring from shifting.

g) Open the electroplating ball valve and the pressure tank ball valve.
