German BURKERT solenoid valve 00458995 in stock

$430.39

When the BURKERT solenoid valve is energized, the electromagnetic force opens the pilot orifice, causing the pressure in the upper chamber to drop rapidly. This creates a pressure differential around the closing element, with the pressure lower at the top and higher at the bottom. The fluid pressure then pushes the closing element upward, opening the valve. When de-energized, the spring force closes the pilot orifice, and the inlet pressure quickly passes through the bypass orifice, creating a pressure differential around the closing element. This fluid pressure then pushes the closing element downward, closing the valve.

BURKERT Principles and Structural Varieties

1. Nominal Pressure: This parameter has the same meaning as other general-purpose valves and is determined based on the nominal pressure of the pipeline.

2. Working Pressure: If the working pressure is low, a direct-acting or step-direct-acting principle must be selected; for low working pressure differentials above 0.04 MPa, direct-acting, step-direct-acting, and pilot-operated valves can all be selected.

BURKERT Solenoid Valves

Electrical Selection (Fold)

BURKERT solenoid valves are fundamental automation components used to control the direction of fluid flow; they belong to the actuator category. They are commonly used in mechanical control and industrial valves to control the direction of the medium, thereby controlling the valve's opening and closing.

Working Principle (Fold)

The solenoid valve has a sealed chamber with through-holes at different positions, each leading to a different oil pipe. Inside the chamber is the valve, and on either side are two electromagnets. When the coil of one electromagnet is energized, the valve body is attracted to that side. By controlling the movement of the valve body, different drain holes are blocked or opened. The inlet hole is always open, allowing hydraulic oil to enter different drain pipes. The oil pressure then pushes the piston in the cylinder, which in turn moves the piston rod, which in turn moves the mechanical device. Thus, controlling the current to the electromagnets controls the mechanical movement.
