RS20-0400M2M2SDAPH A HIRSCHMANN switch is a device that performs information exchange in a communication system. In computer network systems, the concept of switching represents an improvement over the shared operating mode. A HUB is a type of shared device. The HUB itself cannot identify the destination address. When host A on the same local area network transmits data to host B, the data packet is transmitted in a broadcast manner on a network based on a HUB architecture. Each terminal determines whether to receive the packet by verifying the address information in the packet header. In this operating mode, only one packet can be transmitted on the network at a time.

Key Features of HIRSCHMANN Switches
HIRSCHMANN, located in Neckartenzlingen, Germany, offers a range of products including mobile transmission and reception systems using analog and digital broadcast television transmission technologies, enterprise and industrial network solutions, and fieldbus systems. Founded in 1924 by Richard Hirschmann, the father of the "banana plug," the company has grown from a one-man operation into a leading global enterprise in modern communications over 81 years.
History of HIRSCHMANN:
Since January 1, 1997, Hirschmann has joined the electronics division of the Rheinmetall Group as a member of Aditron AG, developing and manufacturing the latest products in automotive electronics, multimedia communication systems, and automated network systems. On March 24, 2004, Hirschmann joined the renowned financial investment company HgCapital Group.
Hirschmann's technological strengths are primarily reflected in automotive communication systems, multimedia electronics, automated network solutions, and electronic control systems. To clarify the company structure, a multimedia division, Hirschmann Multimedia Electronics, was established in early January 2003. Hirschmann has now acquired its former sister company, PAT, located in Ettlingen, whose electronic control systems division is now part of the Hirschmann Group.
HIRSCHMANN Switches
HIRSCHMANN switches are devices that perform information exchange functions in communication systems.
In computer network systems, the concept of switching represents an improvement over shared operating modes. A hub is a type of shared device. The hub itself cannot identify the destination address. When host A on the same local area network transmits data to host B, the data packet is broadcast on a network based on a hub architecture. Each terminal determines whether to receive the packet by verifying the address information in the packet header. In this mode of operation, only one set of data frames can be transmitted over the network at a time; if a collision occurs, the communication must be retried. This method is called shared network bandwidth.

Learning: Ethernet switches know the MAC address of each device connected to each port and map these addresses to the corresponding ports, storing them in the switch's MAC address table cache. Our company primarily deals with European and American brands. We have offices in Germany and the United States, allowing us to source brands from any European country. Our key German brands include: FESTO, BURKERT, BOSCH-REXROTH, IFM, TURCK, P+F, BALLUFF, SICK, HIRSCHMAN, MURR, HYDAC, GSR, CROUZET, E+H, PILZ, HAWE, SIEMENS, STAUFF, EUCHNER, EMG, UNIVER, ATOS, NORGREN, and approximately 500 other brands of varying sizes from other European countries.
