AVENTICS Pneumatic Valve Working Principle:
AVENTICS pneumatic piston actuators use compressed air as a power source. The movement of the piston drives the crank arm to rotate 90 degrees, achieving automatic opening and closing of the valve. Its components include: adjusting bolt, actuator housing, crank arm, cylinder body, cylinder shaft, piston, connecting rod, and universal joint.
Pneumatic Control Valve Working Principle: Pneumatic control valves consist of an actuator and a regulating mechanism. The actuator is the thrust component of the control valve; it generates a corresponding thrust according to the magnitude of the control signal pressure, driving the regulating mechanism to act. The valve body is the regulating component of the pneumatic control valve; it directly contacts the regulating medium, regulating the flow rate of the fluid.
AVENTICS Pneumatic Valve Operation Method:
1. The opening and closing direction of the pneumatic valve should always be clockwise for closing.
2. Since pneumatic valves in pipelines are frequently operated manually, the number of rotations should not be excessive; even for large-diameter valves, this should be within 200-600 rotations.
3. To facilitate operation by a single person, the maximum opening and closing torque under pipeline pressure should be 240 N-m.
4. The operating end of the pneumatic valve should be a square tenon with standardized dimensions, facing the ground so that it can be operated directly from the ground. Valves with rotary discs are not suitable for underground pipelines.
5. Display panel for pneumatic valve opening/closing degree
① The scale lines for the pneumatic valve opening/closing degree should be cast on the gearbox cover or the outer shell of the display panel after the direction is reversed, always facing the ground. The scale lines should be painted with fluorescent powder for high visibility.
② The indicator needle can be made of stainless steel plate under good management conditions; otherwise, painted steel plate should be used. Aluminum sheet should never be used.
③ The indicator needle should be conspicuous and securely fixed. Once the opening/closing adjustment is accurate, it should be locked with rivets.
6. If the pneumatic valve is buried deep, and the operating mechanism and display panel are ≥1.5m above the ground, an extension rod should be provided and securely fixed to allow for observation and operation from the ground. In other words, valve opening and closing operations in pipeline networks should not be performed from underground.
