The ASCO 106 series two-position two-way solenoid valve is also known as the final protection device for pressure vessels. Safety valves automatically open and close according to the working pressure and are generally installed on equipment or pipelines in closed systems to protect system safety. Safety valves belong to the automatic valve category and are mainly used in boilers, pressure vessels, and pipelines to control pressure from exceeding specified values, playing an important protective role for personal safety and equipment operation. A safety valve is a safety protection valve. Its opening and closing element is normally closed under external force. When the pressure of the medium in the equipment or pipeline rises above a specified value, it automatically opens to discharge the medium to the outside of the system to prevent the pressure of the medium in the pipeline or equipment from exceeding the specified value. When the pressure in the equipment or pipeline exceeds the specified value, it automatically opens to release pressure, ensuring that the pressure of the medium in the equipment and pipeline is within the specified value, preventing accidents. The valve automatically opens to release and depressurize the medium; when the pressure returns to normal, the spring pressure pushes the valve core against the valve seat, and the valve automatically closes. ASCO 106 series two-position two-way solenoid valves can be further divided into: single-gate, double-gate, and resilient-gate types; parallel-gate valves can be divided into single-gate and double-gate types. Based on the stem thread position, they can be divided into rising stem gate valves and non-rising stem gate valves. When a gate valve is closed, the sealing surface can rely solely on the medium pressure to seal, i.e., the medium pressure alone presses the gate's sealing surface against the valve seat on the other side to ensure a seal; this is called self-sealing. Most gate valves use forced sealing, meaning that when the valve is closed, external force is required to force the gate against the valve seat to ensure a tight seal.
